Murray McLauchlan, Sandy Engbloom, Lesley and Leonard. Hooked up with Lesley last week. She is a great friend. She brought Paul Schaffer,Bernie Taupin and Rod Steward to my bar as well as many others. I could never refuse Lesley anything. So when she asked if then boyfriend Nick St.Nicholas(Steppenwolf) could rent my bar during the day to rehearse. I said yes.(not thinking that I slept there and I usually got to bed about 7 am) Nick was creating a new album. He would show up at nine. First week about 5 hours of bass lines FULL BLAST! second week Bass and Drum parts FULL BLAST ! For six weeks I suffered often going to a hotel for a rest which cost me far more then the rent. I sure was glad to see him leave. I guess I wll always love Lesley.
