When I opened my Boozecan in 1975 Mike and Danny Marx and Jim Jones spent many a night listening to my Jukebox, Mike was a student at Centennial College when I was on the staff in 1968. In 2018 Mike spent a few days with me on his trip to Cape Breton. Veteran guitarist/singer Mike McDonald has been delighting audiences for over four decades. A consummate performer, Mike has shared stages around the world with an “endless” list of musical icons from B.B. King, Three Dog Night, James Cotton, and Steppenwolf to spending a week in Kandahar playing for the troops - one of his proudest moments. In addition to his music prowess, Mike is also a very talented audio engineer/producer, who ran Toronto's venerable Grossman's Tavern Sunday Night Jam for 13 years.
